Bios of VMR characters

Post by Barra »

The first, I choose, Daisy - ironically, the second character created within the VMR universe. Her Bio is complete from the point in which I created her so it is right to post up her bio first.

Name: Daisy Belle
Age: 88
Clan: Gangrel
Alignment: Neutral/Good
Nature: Protector

This woman walks into the room, though it would be hard to imagine that she was walking at all. Her feet looked like they barely touched the ground – it was more like she glided. Her dress was long and white, almost feathery in appearance and very light. It complimented her pale skin that looked as though it glowed under the dim light. Her hair, golden white in colour, was one long, loose plat that reached down her back, trailing near her rump though one strand had escaped near the front which she casually tucked behind her ear.

For all who cared to notice, she looked quite harmless. Thin as a rake, quite delicate in appearance, every movement were those of someone who was afraid of shattering their own bones like glass.

Her manner was one of shyness to some, showing herself to be the small, harmless girl she appeared to be. This was her most potent weapon. She could weave out people's secrets with her gentle smiles and innocent blue-green eyes, keep them to herself or share them for prophet, whispering small secrets in the right ears though not enough to get too much attention.

Apart from the majority of the crowds, she found herself with a close friend by the name 'Joul' – between them, they founded a close-knit sanctuary, a tribe, for like minded folk away from the politics of stubborn and power-hungry men. They fought peacefully against the judgement of those who didn't understand the power of equality; any judgement against race, sex, sexual orientation, colour or creed was diminished in this place of peace.

Between Daisy and Joul, they created chaos for the diplomats, taking part in riots but keeping them peaceful so none would be harmed. They even took part in displays and demonstrations, gaining support in their bid for freedom from the local people. Daisy herself climbed up atop the house of commons as part of a display that stuck within the minds of the people in Britan.

One evening, a quiet evening surrounded by friends and family within the camp, they were raided at night by masked horse riders; many of their innocents slain by their prejudiced assailants. Daisy recalled Joul falling to a particularly heavy strike; the last thing she saw of him before she was herself, knocked out. When she awoke, there was nothing left of the camp but smouldering tree stubs and canvas. The survivors and Daisy recouped, burying their dead.. Joul was never found. Daisy became cold to the others, distant, using her abilities to gain information from others for the benefit of the tribe. It came to a point, she thought she and her tribe were due a break, putting all of her money together, shipping them over to America to attend the first Woodstock.
This was the 60's – with the aid of the recent madness, "free love" and drugs she found it all too easy to get by on trusting people. People enjoyed talking to her as she was so innocent, so gentle, so naive looking that she couldn't possibly mean any harm. This is how she became embraced.

She was found at nipping away from the others of her tribe. She met a man there, and shared a joint with him. He wore small, dark coloured spectacles. He was a quiet man but full of intrigue – wild at heart and built like an outhouse. They must have looked quite a sight sitting side by side!

Even through the fog of dope she could see his true soul, he was not human. Before he knew it, she was having him reveal his secrets he'd been trained for generations to hide. Suddenly realizing his mistake he went to kill her but he couldn't! Unable to leave this mortal with her information, he had no choice but to make her his own.

The only thing she remembers about her sire was the glasses as she never saw him again... She was adopted by another Gangrel for a short while, but Daisy quickly abandoned her mentor, taking herself away on her own. After a short while, she found herself joined with the Anarchs; the closest thing she had to a tribe within the Kindred society.

As a human she was naturally good at gaining information. Being kindred has only amplified this gift of hers and she has been put to use by her Elders to infiltrate other clans to gain information. She's retained her gentle British accent despite visiting other countries over the past years and she enjoys using her skills at divulging information. For someone of her bloodline, she is very patient and gentle but that can turn on a pin any moment she chooses and can become deadly.

Daisy moved to NY, she was hanging with the anarchs and the new cammies format (basically, a gangrel ended up Prince of the city and he's naturally anarchist but is trying to make the city something in-between cammie and anarch so they can live and work together without friction) The Anarchs asked Daisy to be their diplomat - because she has a history of politics in England. Daisy pointed out that her method of political stature tends to be a bit... Extreme... but then again, she has the most experience dealing with that sort of environment. She's very good at acting the airhead whilst she's always listening, watching. She's been mistaken for a toreador in the past many a time - shows how good she is at pretending to be a dummy blonde.

As a diplomat, she was sent to meet with the camerilla. She ended up as part of this team, showing good will on the anarch's side, to be part of a spy network on the sabbat and their minions. She got to know the others quite well and had her façade up for most of the time. Within this group there was originally:

West; a broody man who loved to drink more wine than he did blood - he and Daisy were total opposites. As she was bright, shiny, bouncy and positive; he was drooped, emo-style, dark minded and very broody.
Marie; A young and impressionable fledgeling. She was turned in the 90's. She's very naive, very techy - knows her computers backwards. Give her half a chance, she'll talk you to dust about the pros and cons between mac and pc - the things she could do with DOS was phenomenal. She was horrified when she discovered Daisy didn't even own a mobile (cell) phone. Other than the technological differences between them, Marie and Daisy became quite close, Daisy took Marie under her wing, helped guide her along the path of kindred even though they were not of the same clan.
Mr. Grey; Catiff. What can we say about Mr. Grey.. He was a unique individual that was psychotic at best. He would be quiet one moment then in the next, he would say the most disturbing things about how one strangles a person to death. He became entirely fascinated with Daisy as she was so bright and pure, it was something new, he had never experienced.
Balthazar; Giovanni, ex cop in his mortal life. He keeps himself to himself most of the time, very serious within the group. Daisy recognised something within him but kept her distance – at first...
